Period Property Wall Plastering in Moortown, Leeds

01 · The project requirements
Renovating the walls of a period property
The room was being renovated, but its traditional features were to remain in place. The walls needed replastering, including the areas around the arched windows, before the room could be redecorated.
The aim was to leave the walls with a fresh, even finish without altering the decorative details that give the room its character.
02 · Work completed
Wall plastering around existing period features
We plastered the internal walls, including the areas around the arched window recesses, while retaining the existing cornicing and ceiling rose.
The photograph shows the newly plastered walls before painting and decoration, with the room's original-style features still in place.
03 · The finished result
Freshly plastered walls while retaining the room's character
The room was left with freshly plastered walls, providing a clean surface for painting once the plaster had fully dried.
The arched windows, cornicing and ceiling rose remain part of the room's traditional appearance, while the renewed walls are ready for the next stage of the renovation.
