How long does fresh plaster take to dry?
A typical skim coat usually takes around 3–7 days, but temperature, ventilation and plaster thickness can make it take longer. Thicker plasterwork can take considerably longer. Wait until the plaster is fully dry before decorating; we'll advise you when the work is finished.
